Creating a community that cares.

Teaneck Creek Conservancy depends on members like you.

At Teaneck Creek we are invested in tackling environmental issues like climate change and protecting biodiversity. We believe experiencing art and nature in our own community creates stewards to tackle today and tomorrow’s biggest issues. When you choose to offer a recurring contribution, regardless of its size, you’re sowing the seeds of impact that have the power to flourish in unexpected ways. Your monthly commitment becomes a cornerstone of stability and a catalyst for creating a greener and brighter future.

Become a catalyst for Teaneck Creek today.

As an environmental nonprofit we are committed to education, conservation, and community-led solutions to make a difference locally. Teaneck Creek provides educational programs for schools and scouts covering topics such as environmental stewardship and native plants. These programs provide children and teens with opportunities to have meaningful experiences in nature and establish a strong connection to place. With our partners we provide nature walks, mindfulness meditation experiences, environmental literacy programs for kids and adults, and so much more. We provide today’s stewards with the necessary ecology framework to tackle the problems facing our communities. With your support we provide tomorrow’s protectors with the necessary experiences to shape a better future.

We do this work on the 46-acres we steward. Teaneck Creek Park contains a 20-acre restored freshwater wetland habitat surrounded by wet forests that provide critical habitat for egrets, muskrats, butterflies, and more. Our education spaces are ecologically-minded and living artistic installments designed to engage all the senses and all our visitors.
