Join us for a family-friendly day of bird walks, talks, raptor visits, kids activities and more celebrating the Meadowlands amazing bird population.

Birding Boat Tours Offered by Hackensack Riverkeeper. Tours depart from River Barge Park, 260 Outwater Lane, Carlstadt. To register, call 201-968-0808. Tours are for ages 10 and up.

All walks meet outside the Meadowlands Environment Center (except 7 am walk). Keynote talk and raptor shows take place in the Environment Center.

KID’S ACTIVITIES: Ongoing from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM at the Meadowlands Environment Center Courtyard. Activities include: Make an ice cream cone bird feeder, make a pair of binoculars, scavenger hunt and more.
